Yes, the primary owner of the home must be at least 55 years of age.
Residents have full access to all of the resort-style amenities and resort sponsored activities. There is an active Lifestyle Ambassador program, friendly neighbors, and an on-site management team.
Yes, The Meadows is a land-lease community. Purchasing in a land-lease community provides you the peace-of-mind that you are the owner of your home and spending no money on the land or paying annual real estate taxes associated with high demand areas. This opportunity allows for you to purchase a vacation or year-round home, while freeing up money for your new lifestyle.
At The Meadows, a small pass through property tax is included in your monthly lot rental fee, so you do not have any large tax bills to pay semi-annually.
Yes, you can rent out your home. You will need the operator’s written permission to do so before entering into a site agreement. In addition, the renters must comply with the terms and conditions set out in the agreement signed by the home-owner. Including, but not limited to, caring for premises, reporting repairs and maintenance, paying bills promptly, not using premises for illegal purposes, and not interfering with peace/privacy of neighbors.
There is no community ownership-run HOA at The Meadows. There is an independent voluntary resident HOA group and they charge a minimum annual fee for membership.
