Ambassador Meeting

Music Mania Bingo

Put your music knowledge to the test with Music Mania Bingo. Listen to the songs and cover the matching titles on your bingo card while joining in on competitive games throughout the event. Residents will have chances to win Cove Bucks that can be used toward future events.

Labor Day Pool Party

• 4:00 pm @ the Pool
• Dinner is $10 per person

Celebrate Labor Day by the pool with music from DJ Darrel. Dinner will be served at 5:00 pm. The meal includes smoked pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, potato salad, and beans. Dinner tickets are now available for purchase in the lifestyle office.

Meet Deb from the Lifestyle Team, community ambassadors, and other residents at The Meadows. Learn more about activities around the community, share ideas for future events, and get to know some of your neighbors.

Pizza Party, Speaker & Karaoke

• 5:00 pm @ the Clubhouse
• Free event

Join Florida Anchor & Barrier for an informational talk about vapor barriers, subfloor repair, and hurricane anchoring. Free pizza will be served during the presentation at 5:00 pm, followed by karaoke at 7:00 pm.

Garage, Craft & Bake Sale

• 10:00 am @ the Clubhouse
• $5 craft table sign-up with the Lifestyle Team

Shop garage sale finds, handmade crafts, and baked goods while supporting the DAV. Residents who would like to donate baked goods should sign up with the Lifestyle Team. All money collected from the bake sale will be donated to the DAV.

From 11:00 am – 1:00 pm hot dogs, chips, and a choice of soda or water will be available to purchase for $5.

Poker Run

• 1:00 pm @ the Clubhouse
• Tickets are $5 per person

Make your way through community checkpoints from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm to collect cards and compete for the winning hand. Winners will be announced at 5:00 pm at the Clubhouse.

Poker Run sheets can be picked up from the Lifestyle Team September 21-25 from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm. Five checkpoint hosts are also needed to provide a light snack, drink, and game where players can earn extra cards. Residents interested in being a checkpoint host or relief volunteer can sign up with the Lifestyle Team.

Live Music with Carl August

Enjoy a night of live music with local musician Carl August. Enjoy acoustic versions of classic, country, and rock songs along with relaxed sing-along favorites.

Calypso Queen Dinner Cruise

• 3:00 pm pickup @ the Community Center
• Cruise tickets are $53 per person

Spend two hours aboard the Calypso Queen for a tropical dinner cruise from Clearwater Beach. Enjoy an island-style buffet, live DJ, dancing, and views from the open-air deck. Tickets include beer, wine, rum punch, and soft drinks.

The boat departs at 6:00 pm. Sign up early so the cruise and bus can be booked based on attendance. Tickets are nonrefundable. Bus transportation is available for an additional $25 per person and must be purchased at least two weeks in advance.

Wine Down Wednesday

Looking for a midweek pick-me-up? Wine Down Wednesdays is our weekly get-together to relax and spend time with neighbors. Bring your own beverage and snacks and join us for a relaxing evening.

Listen to songs and mark your card when you recognize the tune. When you hit bingo, the fun continues with interactive games, friendly competition, and chances to win Cove Bucks for future events.

The Veterans Club helps our community honor those who have served. Through fundraising, donations, and local partnerships, the club promotes engagement and support for veterans both within the park and beyond.

This special group is made up of couples who have been married 50 years or more. They gather once a month to share their stories, enjoy lunch together, and celebrate lasting love.
