Maine Line Dancing Legends Return to Point Sebago Resort

Flamin' Raymin' and Sizzlin' Suzzin' perform at Point Sebago Resort in Casco, Maine.

Pack your dancing shoes. And get ready to heat up the dance floor this summer at Point Sebago Resort with Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’. Longtime guests of the family-friendly Casco, Maine campground know the names.

New guests are in for a treat with these line dancing legends. The husband-and-wife duo return to Point Sebago in 2026 (scroll for dates) with weekly shows all summer season on Sebago Lake.

Their high-energy dance parties aren’t just a tradition for Point Sebago guests. The shows are the core of who Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ are behind the scenes, too.

“It’s part of our legacy. We bring fun. We bring families together. It’s all about making memories.”

Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ Bring High-Energy Family Entertainment

Raymond and Susan Dupuis, as they are legally known, are hard to label.

Flamin’ Raymin’ is the emcee and teaches the dance moves. Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ keeps the beat pumping and the crowd dancing from the DJ booth.

Their high-energy shows are part line dancing, part concert, and a bit of a workout routine. Don’t let that last part make you sweat. The shows are designed for all dance levels and all ages. Whether you’re 8 or 80 years old, Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ say there’s a place for you on their dance floor.

“Nobody sits. I encourage the kids to drag their parents and grandparents onto the dance floor, “ explained Raymond. “We smooth it over by telling them you’re making memories.”

“That’s right,” added Susan, “your kids are going to remember these days.”

It’s how Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ measure a successful night of families enjoying a true Maine vacation. Raymond knows the moment a show is going to be great.

“You see these little girls that are probably four years old dragging their linebacker fathers out. That’s how I know that I’ve done my job.”

It’s that same spirit Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ are bringing to the 2026 season at Point Sebago Resort when they kick off their season in June.

Entertainment Coming to Point Sebago in 2026

“It’s the people that keep us coming back. We’ve seen generations grow up at Point Sebago. We really enjoy it.”

Families flock from all over the East Coast to experience a classic Sebago Lake vacation, from waterfront cabins to wooded glamping tent sites

The spring season offers guests busy themed weekends with a full schedule of activities. The spring and summer entertainment schedules can be found online and on the CampersApp. Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ kick off their season after Memorial Day Weekend 2026.

The summer season brings even more shows with the Point Sebago summer schedule starting at the end of June. That’s when there are more than 250 activities per week for guests. It includes everything from archery to tennis to family canoe races.

Entertainment ranges from comedians, bands, and favorites like Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’.

But you’ll want to book a cabin or RV site early on the select weekends when the line dancing legends are performing. The duo has been drawing a crowd on the shores of Sebago Lake for three decades with their unconventional style of line dancing and fun. And according to both, this summer will be no different.

“There is a format to the show. We can’t change it too much, or people get upset. Everyone wants us to bring back their favorite dances,” Raymond explained.

However, don’t expect the entire evening to be a replay of Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’s greatest hits. The pair is already working on incorporating new music and trending dances.

Shows are free for guests staying at the resort.

Entertaining Point Sebago for 30+ Years

Flamin’ Raymin’ hosting the beach party at Point Sebago Resort.

Point Sebago Resort is more than a gig for Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’. It’s part of their rich, Maine legacy. They’ve been entertaining generations at Point Sebago for 30 years and never imagined what it would grow into.

Fittingly, the couple met at a line dancing event nearly 40 years ago.

They went on to teach line dancing classes throughout Maine. Eventually, the duo was invited to help lead a line dancing weekend at Point Sebago Resort.

“We had instructors with classes all over the resort in different buildings,” recalled Susan, who added that Point Sebago didn’t even have a dance floor at the time. Raymond put in his own temporary dance floor for guests that first season.

The themed weekend at the lakefront resort featured top Nashville line dancing instructors, too. The Point Sebago weekend was packed, according to Susan.

“The place was packed, and we couldn’t even fit them all in.”

Ray agreed to return the following season without a second thought. For Susan, it was a little more complicated.

“I’m like, and do what? I had no idea how to DJ. I didn’t know what I was doing.”

“When I was learning to DJ, people would request Backstreet Boys or Brittany Spears. I had to come home and ask my kids, ‘Who the heck are these people?’”

But that didn’t last long. Susan is now a pro at keeping the party going from the DJ booth.

Their style is unconventional, which is part of what makes it great.

A little planning, a lot of “winging it,” and their ability to read the crowd combine to create magic season after season at the Sebago Lake campground.

Their dance parties evolved over the years, eventually performing as much as three times a week at Point Sebago during the summer season. Now the couple easily gets an entire room dancing in minutes.

“I think it is because we interact with everybody,” Susan explained while crediting Ray with keeping the crowd engaged.

“We love what we do, and we love sharing what we do with others, so it just was a good mix for us.”

Sizzlin’ Suzzin’

The Perfect Maine Vacation for Families

Raymond & Susan on their wedding day in 2003.

It’s that love for the Point Sebago Resort crowd that keeps Flamin’ Raymin’ and Sizzlin’ Suzzin’ coming back to the Maine vacation spot. It’s shaped generations of campers. It’s special to them, too. So special, that it’s also where they got married in 2003.

Now married 22 years and together 36, Susan compares their relationship with Point Sebago to a marriage. There are changes over the years, big and small. Like the changes in a marriage, there is an evolution of camping and guests at Point Sebago.

But it’s the people, their “lake family,” that make Point Sebago so special.

“Everybody gets to know everybody,” clarified Susan. “The family atmosphere was the biggest thing.”

The couple recalls parents and kids dancing on the beach or taking hayrides together.

Raymond reminds us all that in the moment, these pieces of the perfect Maine vacation may not seem like much. However, the memories of these great times last so much longer. It circles back to the legacy the couple hopes they’ve created at Point Sebago Resort.

“We want people to look back on our shows too and remember we brought some fun, brought the families together, and helped them make memories.”
