All experience levels are welcome, with equipment and coaching provided during scheduled times. Outside of regular play, residents can use public equipment in the storage room to the left of the Clubhouse entrance.

Start your morning off right with this low-impact full-body workout. Join residents in the heated swimming pool by the Veranda.

Jamaica Bay Art League
Learn from some of Jamaica Bay’s finest artists. Regardless of skill level, this can be a time to reignite your creativity or build on artistic talents.
Mondays & Thursdays
Hand & Foot
A variation similar to Canasta, this game is fun to play and easy to learn. Cards, shufflers, pads, and pens are provided.
Daily Open Court
Pickleball Club
Eight courts mean countless opportunities to play daily or sharpen your skills. To officially join the club, membership dues are $10. Paddles and pickleballs are available in the gray box next to Courts 7 and 8.

Poolside Entertainment
Kick off the weekend right at the Veranda Pool! Grab your friends and enjoy live poolside entertainment while you soak up the afternoon sun.

Culinary Club
Calling all food lovers! Join the Culinary Club for good conversation and great company centered around all things food. On April 8, they’ll be making grilled cheese and soup, and on April 22, the menu will feature a fun Kentucky Derby theme.

OREO's (Old Riders Enjoy Outings)
Every biker is welcome in this bicycle and e-bike group. Join at the clubhouse parking lot to be ready for an early morning departure. Make sure to wear your bike helmet and a bright colored shirt or blouse
Mondays and Thursdays
JBC Line Dance Club
These free line dancing classes are open to the community. The beginner class on Thursdays focuses on easier dances, while the Beginner Plus class on Mondays offers a bit more of a challenge. Both classes begin at 2:00 p.m.
