When more adventure is on the agenda, immediately adjacent to our park, Sergeant Jasper Park spans 321 acres in Jasper County, offering hiking, fishing, and disc golf. Rich in history, it served as a battleground for Cusabo Indians, witnessed colonial-era events, and hosted a Civil War clash. With a playground and disc golf course, it’s perfect for family outings, or you can go fishing, rent canoes and kayaks, hike nature trails, and enjoy nature. Day-use amenities include fishing lakes, canoe rentals, nature trails, and a clubhouse. Plus, with a full-time park ranger living on-site, the park is safe and well kept.
