The Point Sebago Postcard Contest starts May 1, 2026. Guests can enter by submitting their favorite photos and videos of Point Sebago Resort in Maine. Two winners receive free 3-night stays at Point Sebago Resort during the 2027 season.
Contest Rules, Terms & Regulations
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE THE CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Sponsor: The Point Sebago Postcard: Video & Photo Contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by Cove Property Management, LP d/b/a Cove Communities, 2999 N 44th Street, Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85018 USA (the “Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility: The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. The Contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Cove Communities, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers (collectively, “Employees”), and immediate family members of Employees and/or persons living in the same household as Employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate. A person may win only one (1) prize. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations.
3. Contest Period: The Contest begins on May 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM Eastern Time and ends on October 15, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
4. How to Enter: To enter, visit [CoveCommunities.com/Point-Sebago-Postcard-Contest] and complete the online entry form, including submission of an original video and/or original photograph(s) (each, an “Entry”) during the Contest Period.
Entrants may submit one Entry in each category during the Contest Period but may win only one (1) prize. Entrants may not use multiple email addresses, identities, or devices to circumvent these rules. Any attempt to do so may result in disqualification.
Entries must comply with the following requirements:
(a) Video Entries:
- Must be between one (1) and five (5) minutes in length.
- Must be in .mp4, .mov, or .avi format.
- Must not exceed 2 GB in file size.
- Must depict the entrant’s original Point Sebago Resort experience, scenery, activities, or memories.
(b) Photo Entries:
- Must be in .jpg, .png, or .heic format.
- Must be a minimum resolution of 1080 x 1080 pixels.
- Must not exceed 25 MB in file size.
- Must depict the entrant’s original Point Sebago Resort experience, scenery, activities, or memories.
(c) General Entry Requirements (all Entries):
- Each Entry must be the original work of the entrant. Entries must not contain content owned by, or requiring a license from, any third party.
- Entries must not contain material that is obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, harassing, discriminatory, or that promotes illegal activity.
- Entries must not contain identifiable images of any person other than the entrant unless the entrant has obtained written consent from each such person (or, for minors, from a parent or legal guardian). Sponsor reserves the right to request proof of such consent.
- Entries must not contain any commercial advertising, trademarks, or logos of any third party.
- Entries that are incomplete, corrupted, or that do not adhere to these rules may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor.
- Entries must not be generated, in whole or in part, by artificial intelligence tools programs, or software (including but not limited to AI image generators, AI video generators, and AI-assisted editing tools that alter the substantive content of the Entry). Standard camera filters, basic color correction, cropping, and minor exposure adjustments are permitted. Entries that have been materially altered, composited, or digitally manipulated beyond standard post-processing may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right to request the original, unedited file for any Entry and to disqualify any Entry for which the original file is not provided upon request.
5. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Content License and Rights Granted by Entrant: BY SUBMITTING AN ENTRY, ENTRANT ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT SPONSOR AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSEES, SUCCESSORS, AND ASSIGNS SHALL HAVE THE IRREVOCABLE, PERPETUAL, WORLDWIDE, ROYALTY-FREE, FULLY PAID-UP, NON-EXCLUSIVE RIGHT AND LICENSE TO USE, REPRODUCE, MODIFY, ADAPT, PUBLISH, TRANSLATE, CREATE DERIVATIVE WORKS FROM, DISTRIBUTE, DISPLAY, PERFORM, AND OTHERWISE EXPLOIT THE ENTRY, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, IN ANY MEDIA NOW KNOWN OR HEREAFTER DEVELOPED, FOR ANY PURPOSE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ADVERTISING, MARKETING, PROMOTIONAL, COMMERCIAL, AND EDITORIAL PURPOSES, WITHOUT FURTHER COMPENSATION, NOTICE, REVIEW, OR CONSENT.
This license includes, without limitation, the right to use the Entry and the entrant’s name, likeness, voice, image, biographical information, and statements about the Contest in connection with the Contest and Sponsor’s business operations in perpetuity.
Entrant represents and warrants that: (a) the Entry is an original work of authorship solely created by the entrant; (b) the Entry does not violate any third party’s proprietary, intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights; (c) the entrant has obtained all necessary permissions, consents, and releases from any person appearing in the Entry; and (d) the entrant has the full right and authority to grant the license set forth in this Section 5.
If the Entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any third party’s rights, entrant shall, at entrant’s sole expense, defend or settle against such claims and shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sponsor, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement.
For Canadian Residents: To the extent permitted by applicable law, entrant hereby waives all moral rights in and to the Entry in favor of Sponsor and its affiliates, licensees, successors, and assigns.
Entrant retains ownership of the Entry, subject to the license granted herein. For clarity, Sponsor is not obligated to use any Entry.
7. Judging: All eligible Entries will be judged by a panel of judges selected by Sponsor (the “Judges”). Judging will commence on October 16, 2026.
Entries will be evaluated in two (2) categories: (a) Best Video and (b) Best Photo. Entries will be scored based on the following criteria, weighted equally:
- Creativity and Originality: Uniqueness of concept, perspective, and storytelling
- Visual Quality: Technical quality, composition, lighting, and production value
- Emotional Impact: Ability to evoke a sense of the Point Sebago Resort experience
- Relevance: Connection to Point Sebago Resort and its community
The decisions of the Judges are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest. Ties will be broken by the Judges at their sole discretion based on the criterion of Creativity and Originality.
8. Prizes: Two (2) Grand Prizes will be awarded:

(a) Best Video Grand Prize: One (1) complimentary 3-night stay at Point Sebago Resort during the 2027 season.
(b) Best Photo Grand Prize: One (1) complimentary 3-night stay at Point Sebago Resort during the 2027 season.
Each Grand Prize is valued at the standard 3-night rate for a Point Sebago basic cabin (the “Approximate Retail Value” or “ARV”). Exact ARV will be determined at the time of booking. There are no blackout dates, however, prize stays must be redeemed during the 2027 Point Sebago Resort operating season and are subject to availability. Winners may upgrade their reservation to a different accommodation type, but must pay the difference between the ARV and the upgraded rate at the time of booking.
Prize specifics shall be solely determined by Sponsor. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable. Any and all prize-related expenses not expressly included herein, including without limitation transportation, meals, incidentals, gratuities, and any applicable federal, state, provincial, and local taxes, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Unredeemed prizes expire at the end of the 2027 Point Sebago Resort operating season and have no cash value.
9. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be announced online on October 19, 2026. Each entrant selected as a Grand Prize recipient is a “Winner.” Winners will be notified by email within five (5) days following the announcement.
For Canadian Residents: Before being declared a winner, selected Canadian entrants must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Sponsor.
Sponsor shall have no liability for a winner’s failure to receive notice due to spam filters, junk email settings, or incorrect or non-functioning contact information provided by the entrant.
If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification, fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question (Canadian residents), or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration, release, and/or affidavit as required by Sponsor, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner selected from the remaining eligible Entries based on the judging criteria.
10. General Terms and Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest should virus, bug, unauthorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Sponsor’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Contest. In such event, Sponsor may select winners from all eligible Entries received prior to the action taken by Sponsor.
Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website, or who violates these Official Rules. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws, and Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability: By entering, entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Contest; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of Entries; or (vi) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use of any prize.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE RELEASED PARTIES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE CONTEST OR ANY PRIZE.
12. Disputes
THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF ARIZONA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, entrant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court of competent jurisdiction located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Entrant further waives all rights to punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, other than entrant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e., costs associated with entering this Contest). Entrant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
13. Privacy: Information submitted with an Entry is subject to the Privacy Policy posted on the Cove Communities website at CoveCommunities.com/privacy-policy/. Sponsor will collect entrants’ names, email addresses, and other information as set forth on the entry form. Personal information will be used for Contest administration and, with entrant’s consent, for marketing communications. Entrants may opt out of marketing communications at any time. For Canadian residents: Personal information is collected and used in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
14. Publicity: Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use the winner’s name, likeness, Entry, and biographical information for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation.
15. Winners List: For a copy of the winners’ names or a copy of these Official Rules, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Cove Communities, Attn: Point Sebago Postcard Contest, 2999 N 44th Street, Suite 200, Phoenix, AZ 85018 USA. Requests must be received no later than November 19, 2026.
16. Social Media Disclaimer: This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat or any other social media platform.
17. Parental Right of Removal: If a parent or legal guardian of a minor child believes that an Entry contains an identifiable image of their child submitted without the parent’s or legal guardian’s consent, the parent or legal guardian may submit a written removal request to Sponsor at:

The removal request must include: (a) the parent’s or legal guardian’s name and contact information; (b) a description or screenshot of the Entry at issue; (c) identification of the minor child depicted; and (d) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the requestor is the parent or legal guardian of the minor child and did not consent to the child’s image being submitted or used in connection with the Contest.
Upon receipt of a valid removal request, Sponsor will promptly (and in no event later than ten (10) business days): (i) remove the Entry from the Contest website and any Sponsor-controlled platforms; (ii) cease any further commercial use of the Entry; and (iii) use commercially reasonable efforts to remove or disable access to the Entry in any Sponsor-controlled media in which it has been published. If the Entry at issue has been selected as a winning Entry, Sponsor reserves the right to revoke the prize and select an alternate Winner.
Sponsor’s obligation under this section extends to media within Sponsor’s reasonable control. Sponsor is not responsible for removal of content that has been shared, reposted, or distributed by third parties beyond Sponsor’s control.
18. Acceptance: By submitting an Entry, entrant affirmatively acknowledges that entrant has reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of these Official Rules and Terms & Conditions.
