Celebrating 4 Years of Talent & Giving
Nine finalists showed off their star power and competed to win $2,500 in 2025. Cove’s Got Talent returned to Lakeland, Florida with a variety of musical talents.
Cove’s Got Talent celebrates the biggest talents within Cove Communities. The annual show also raises money for DAV (Disabled American Veterans) bringing in $103,000 in 2025.
Over the years, Cove’s Got Talent has raised a combined $400,000 for U.S. veterans.

Relive the magic of the 2025 Cove’s Got Talent Finale, filmed live at Cypress Lakes Village in Lakeland, Florida! This special event brought together talented residents from Cove Communities across the country—each one a winner of their local community’s competition.
Kenny Weiland
First Place
Kenny Weiland performed his original song, “I Wish My Dog Could Drive,” which was featured on NPR’s Comedy Talk Show. Kenny and his wife moved to Camelot Lakes Village almost eight years ago after his wife retired.

Grackle Loop Birdettes
Second Place
Marian “Mo” Duemler, Robin Debeau, Davida “Dee” Kaufman make up the Grackle Loop Birdettes of Cypress Lake Village. The friends all live on the Grackle Loop in the Lakeland community and said their song choice describes the joy they feel living amongst friends in Cypress Lakes.

Third Place
Beverley Terzin rocked the crowd with a powerhouse rendition of “Walkin’ After Midnight” by Patsy Cline. She lives at Rolling Greens Village in Ocala, Florida. Born in England, Beverley said she instantly knew Rolling Greens was where she was meant to be.

Raising Money for Veterans
Cove’s Got Talent is proud to raise money each year for DAV.
Many residents and guests within our communities are veterans which makes supporting those who served an important part of the Cove culture. Individual Florida retirement communities raise money each year for DAV with benefits, silent auctions, and fundraisers.
COMMUNITY SUPPORTThe 2025 goal is to raise $100,000 for DAV through your generous donations, Cove Communities contributions, and CGT sponsorships.

Watch a talented family of a capella singers harmonize on of Louis Armstong’s What a Wonderful World. Cove’s Got Talent was the trio’s first time performing as a group.

Watch Donamae Tankowiak wow the crowd with a two-sided love story that you have to see to believe.
Donamae represented Sun Valley, a 55+ community in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
