Say Yes to Sarasota
The residents at Camelot Lakes Village always have a reason to explore the great outdoors when the weather is so lovely year round. Going on excursions and taking sightseeing trips are always best when enjoyed with friends. Grab your gal pals and best buds and join in on the Island Paradise Cruise on April 10. Tea fiends are looking forward to going to Arcadia to shop for antiques and dine at Mary Margaret’s Tea Room, an establishment decorated in the Victorian charm of yesteryear.
In addition to offsite outings, the resort offers daily activities. Seemingly endless options include bridge, painting, euchre, pickle ball, ceramics, water aerobics, scrabble, billiards, poker, walking and more.
Live Music in the Park
Every Friday evening through April 26, the amphitheater at the Bradenton Riverwalk hosts a free concert. All you need to bring is a lawn chair or blanket. Hours are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Dogs are welcome when kept on a leash, and snacks are available for purchase.
Lake Osprey for Earth Day
On April 27, head over to Oscar Scherer State Park to spend the day under the Florida sunshine at Sarasota Earth Day. The gala will include live music, craft vendors, tram tours and food. You may also hike the nature trails and rent a kayak to take out in Lake Osprey. Admission for the event is free.
