Announcing the 2023 Cove’s Got Talent Finale Winners!
Our annual Cove’s Got Talent show, hosted at Rolling Greens Village, has come to a wrap! This highly anticipated event was the final showcase after a fierce round of preliminary competitions held at our various resorts and communities throughout Florida. This year we had a total of 12 finalists, who showed off their talents for a chance to win the $2,500 grand prize and of course, bragging rights. After a spectacular event filled with stunning performances, we are proud to announce our top three winners! 
Coming in first place, was a trio of acapella singers who wowed the judges and audience alike. –Known by their group name “Relativity”, this trio harmonized perfectly in their rendition of Louis Armstong’s “What a Wonderful World”–and believe it or not, this was their first time performing as a group! Congratulations to Greg, Ione, and Sheila Gee from Rolling Greens Village!
Our second-place winner’s use of an electric keyboard left us all speechless and earned him a place in the top three! He gracefully played one of his wife’s favorite Latin-infused songs, “Latin Flavors”- congratulations to Michael Polise from Camelot East Village!
And last but certainly not least, is our third-place winner, Frances Johnson, who performed a “Frantastic” tap-dance routine that impressed the judges and delighted the crowd. Frances picked up tap dancing during the pandemic and was able to put her skills to the test to secure a third-place win! Congratulations to Frances Johnson from Cypress Lakes Village! 
Now, Cove‘s Got Talent isn’t only a contest for our guests and residents–it is also an opportunity to raise money for a cause we care deeply about, the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The DAV’s free, professional assistance helps millions of veterans, and their families get the benefits they’ve earned and helps them every step of the way. This year our residents, team members, and volunteers worked to raise an astonishing $100,000 to help disabled veterans get back on their feet! How amazing is that? This is a true testament to the generosity, care, and kindness our guests and residents possess.
Of course, this extraordinary event wouldn’t be possible without the help of our fabulous lifestyle volunteers and residents. We want to express our deep gratitude to those who worked tirelessly to ensure the event went on without a hitch! And if you couldn’t be there in person with us, don’t fret!
