fish fish and more fish at Chokoloskee Island Resort

Tournament Details

The 100 Days of Chokoloskee Fishing Tournament will be a summer competition that begins on June 1st and ends on August 31st.

The tournament is catch and release and will consist of 5 divisions: Inshore, Women’s, Kid’s, Kayak, and Trash.

Inshore, kayak, and women’s divisions are reserved for registrants 18 years and up, Kids division reserved for contestants between the ages of 6 and 17 years old. All ages are allowed to participate in the Trash division.

The divisions will also be split up based on the fish – Seatrout, Redfish, and Snook make up a separate competition from Tarpon catches.

Chokoloskee Island Resort - Dog on a Boat

How it works

Prizes will be awarded based on the total length of catches, (i.e. a 20-inch Snook, 30-inch Redfish, and 20-inch Trout, will result in a 70-inch total length). The Tarpon prize award will go to the biggest single fish.

Fish lengths will be measured with the approved resort ruler provided to registrants, and documented with a photograph that must be sent to the resort within 1 hour of each catch or as soon as you get cell phone reception. In the event of any tie, the award will go to the first photo received.

If registrants catch a bigger designated fish over the course of the competition, they can add the bigger catch to replace a smaller catch.
