Costume Contests, Pumpkin Carving, and Frightful Fun

Don your costume and masks! On Friday, Flaymin’ Raymon & Sizzlin’ Susan are performing all your favorite thrilling tunes on the beach stage. Dance on over to the beach bonfire and get cozy with your loved ones as chilling ghost stories are told. Now that you are in the spirit of things, get ready for a Saturday stacked with exciting activities for the whole family.

  • Pumpkin Painting
    Kids (ages 1-11) can pick up their pumpkin at the Guest Hub and show off their painting skills. These will be on display for all to see!
  • Pumpkin Carving
    Families will be able to carve their pumpkins together and enter them into the contest. Who will win the coveted carving trophy?!
  • Make-Your-Own-Mummy
    This is a fun one for all ages to enjoy: The Family Mummy Wrap will take place at the Tot Lot Beach.
  • Costume Contests
    There will be many opportunities to win prizes throughout the weekend! Enter the costume contest for all who dare to show off their ghoulish garb.
  • Trick-Or-Treating
    At this point in the day, you most certainly deserve Halloween candy! Plan out your Trick or Treating route through the following locations: General Store, Grove Pavilion, Welcome Center, Arcade, and Beach Grill.
  • The Haunted Golf Cart & Costume Parade
    This is a crowd favorite every year as our campers are sure to go all out. (costumed walkers are welcome to join in as well!) The Route is from the Tennis Courts to Beach Stage, so find an ideal spot if you prefer to be a spooky spectator.
  • Scarecrow Building Contest
    Show off your scary-good-scarecrow-thatching skills and you could win a trophy. The hay and stick structure is provided; pack anything else you need to bring your vision to life.
  • Jurassic Park Dino Pit
    Get your tickets to the Jurassic Park Dino Pit and be transported to a land before time…
  • The Nightmare on Sebago
    This is an all-new haunted walking experience, starting at the entrance to Moose Landing Marina. Consult the schedule for the ideal time for you and your family to parade. (masks are required and social distancing will be enforced)
  • Pumpkin Lighting & Judging
    It is a magical moment to watch everyone’s pumpkins light up the night – be at Sebago Square at 7:30pm so you don’t miss out!
  • Motor Booty Affair Halloween Rock Show
    Get ready to dance to the monster mash, thriller, and ghostbusters right up until it is time to announce the winner of the adults-only costume contest.
