Pet-Friendly RV Resorts & 55+ Communities

Bring the furry family members when you stay at a Cove RV resort or 55+ community. Pets are a big part of resort-style living whether you stay in a Cove community for a weekend, a season, or longer.

It’s why pets are welcome at Cove Communities from Maine to Florida.

Cove Communities Pet Policy

There are no extra fees for pet owners regardless of a pet’s size, breed, or weight.

However, RV parks require pet deposits if you book a vacation cottage.

Cove Communities are dog-friendly with no breed restrictions at our RV parks or manufactured home communities. However, there are limitations to where pets can be at certain resorts or communities and how many pets you can keep on site.

Aggressive pets are not allowed in any community. Scroll down to find pet policy specifics by park or community.

RV Resorts Welcome Family Pets

It’s not just about the destination when you hit the road. It’s about the journey. And for many RVers that journey includes the family dog or cat.

Pet-friendly RV parks often go above and beyond to cater to their four-legged guests. You’ll find amenities like dog parks, walking trails, and pet washing stations at select parks.

One of the biggest perks of staying in a pet-friendly resort is the sense of community. It’s not uncommon to see impromptu doggy playdates with neighboring RV sites or to strike up conversations with fellow travelers while your pets sniff each other out.

RV Site Pet Policies & Cottage Rental Restrictions

However, maintaining that sense of community is a balance so additional policies exist depending on where you stay.

We ask that guests keep their pets on a leash. Do not leave your pet tied up or unattended at any time. Pet owners are required to clean up after their animals. And pets are permitted in public amenity areas including bathrooms, pool areas, or restaurants.
