CreekFire RV Resort – Savannah, Georgia

You won’t need to cook or even leave the resort for dinner when you stay at CreekFire RV Resort. Guests staying at this family-friendly RV park in Savannah have two dining options, a pool, lazy river, splash pad, and boat/canoe rentals. Plus, you’ll enjoy Southern hospitality at its best with regular activities, live entertainment, and a shuttle service for exploring downtown Savannah.

The Lake House Restaurant and Tavern

Guests can grab dinner at CreekFire’s on-site waterfront restaurant. The Lake House Restaurant offers a variety of food options to satisfy every family member. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 to 9:00 pm, the restaurant serves burgers, sandwiches, Southern dishes, and weekly specials. While walk-ins are welcome, making a reservation is recommended.

Pool Bar and Grill

Grab a drink, snack, or treat while staying cool by the resort-style pool at the CreekFire Pool Bar & Grill. This spot is open depending on the weather and no reservations are needed. 

Eating Local in Savannah

Guests recommend heading into downtown Savannah at least one night for food with a little soul. Try one of these award-winning restaurants: Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room, The Pirates House, The Olde Pink House, and Vic’s on The River.

Holiday RV Park – Leesburg, Florida

Grab a bite to eat on-site when you stay at Holiday RV Park in Florida. This waterfront 55+ RV park offers a unique mix with access to Florida’s best fishing coves and resort amenities. The RV resort sits along a chain of stunning freshwater lakes. However, you’ll want to check out what’s surrounding the pool if you’re hungry. 

Holiday Poolside Cafe

You can’t miss this park favorite. The cafe is located next to the outdoor pool by the main office. Guests don’t need a reservation, but double check the cafe hours which change seasonally. 

  • October – April: Open Tuesday through Sunday from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm. The cafe extends its hours to 5:00 pm on Thursday and offers a breakfast buffet on the first Saturday of each month from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
  • May – September: Open Monday to Friday from 8:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Eating Local in Leesburg

A standout feature of Holiday RV Park is the ability to reach local restaurants by water. Guests who dock their boat at Holiday can cruise down the Harris Chain of Lakes to find top-rated restaurants. Guests recommend visiting Ski Beach, Hurricanes, and JB Boondocks for dining experiences accessible by boat.

Or hop in the car and you’ll find Rodellos, Beef O’Bradys, New England Seafood, and Ramshackles within a five-minute drive.

Point Sebago Resort – Casco, Maine

Step off the beach for food and shade at Point Sebago Resort’s restaurant during your stay. Guests return year after year to enjoy one of Maine’s largest lakes. Plus, you’ll find a long list of family-friendly campground amenities, themed weekends, live entertainment, and championship golf.

The Landing Restaurant

Located in the Beach Pavilion, The Landing Restaurant offers delicious daily food and drink service. You’ll even find gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian options. No reservations are needed. The Landing is open daily starting at noon.

Point Sebago Snack Bar 

Grab an ice cream before heading to the beach in Sebago Square at the Snack Bar. Order at the window for quick grab-and-go treats.

Tiki Bar 

A traditional beach bar with drafts, wine, cocktails, and Point Sebago’s infamous Voodoo Bucket. Grab a drink and hang out with friends to play Name that Tune or Tiki Bar trivia.

Sunset Lounge 

Adults enjoy this classic bar where Point Sebago bartenders serve drinks and laughs into the evening. You’ll also find the resort pool table and dart boards here.

Eating Local in Maine

This resort is a true destination with only a few dining options nearby. Guests can find more dining 10-15 minutes down the road from Point Sebago. Locals recommend Top of the Hill Grill for breakfast and Yolked Farm to Table for dinner.

Lake Jasper RV Park – Hardeeville, South Carolina

Guests in South Carolina recommend Okatie Ale House for a taste of Southern flair and the best corned beef around. If you’re in the mood for unique pizza, appetizers, and a relaxed atmosphere, check out Full Moon Saloon Sunset Pizzeria. For authentic sandwiches, seafood platters, and more, head to Captain Woody’s Seafood Bar.

Big Pine Key RV Park – Big Pine Key, Florida

Rated 5 stars, The Square Grouper Bar and Grill features an innovative kitchen that serves fresh local seafood and elevated dishes for lunch and dinner. Galley Grill offers a diverse menu and hosts a happy hour during the week. Kiki’s Sandbar, located on a waterfront spot with beach access, serves upscale dinner specials, and features live entertainment.

Blueway RV Park – Fort Myers, Florida

A highly recommended traditional breakfast spot is FK your Diet because it stands for foster kids’ diets. They donate a portion of their sales to orphans and they have great food, it’s a win-win! Next up, Leoni’s Pizzeria has amazing fire brick pizza with a variety of delicious Italian options. Voted best wings in the Fort Myers area is Wicked Wings, a must!   

Chokoloskee RV Park – Chokoloskee, Florida

Just two minutes from the RV park is Chokoloskee Havana Cafe. It’s open in-season (opens in October) and features Cuban and seafood dishes. Diving Pelican offers a range of American, seafood, and Cuban cuisine for lunch and dinner. On weekends, it transforms into a bar called Gator Hole starting at 11:00 pm. 

Island Cafe provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a diverse menu that includes traditional American, Italian, and seafood options.

Oak Harbor RV Park – Haines City, Florida

For an upscale dining experience, head to Manny’s Steakhouse. If you’re a fan of Southern BBQ, don’t miss Sonny’s BBQ, known for its signature baby back ribs. For a nostalgic dive experience, visit Lake Alfred Diner, which offers a special menu that is different each day of the week and features around the world cuisines 

River Vista RV Park – Ruskin, Florida

If you are in the mood for fresh food Sunset Grill is a Hawaiian restaurant with plenty of fish options and they host brunches. Dinner with a view? Check out the upscale waterfront restaurant Circles. They serve lunch and dinner with lots of surf and turf combos. Finn’s is another seafood restaurant that offers happy hour and is known for their lobster mac n cheese. They also play live music to elevate your dining experience.
