Come Early and Enjoy the Cornish Strawberry Festival
Come a few days before July 4th, so you can attend the annual Cornish Strawberry Festival. Only 27 miles from Casco, historic Thompson Park in Cornish Village will be the scene of the annual gala. It will feature fresh strawberries and an array of treats, including mouthwatering strawberry shortcake. In addition, you can listen to live music performances and browse through vendors of crafts, jewelry, art, photography and produce. The event is also a good time to check out local shops. Admission is free. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
