Sometimes, guests have many of the same questions. We’ve compiled the most frequent of those, and provided answers below. - Reservation Policy:

- Daily Reservations (less than 14 days) – payment in full is required at the time of booking.
- Daily Reservations (15-29 days) – a 25% deposit is required during booking. The balance is due 14 days before arrival.
- Long Term Reservations (30 days or more) – a 10% deposit on the total stay is required during booking. The balance is due no less than 30 days before arrival. A utility deposit will be required.
- A 3% credit card transaction fee will be applied to all reservations of 30 days or more.
Check-in is 3:00 p.m.; you may walk onto the resort and enjoy the amenities (beach, restaurant, activities, etc.). Please know that you may not drive on, or go to your site/unit until 3:00 p.m.
Check-out time is at 10:00 a.m. Please know that use of the resort after check-out is not permitted.
CANCELLATION POLICY: 25% of the initial deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs 14 days or more before arrival date. The full 25% deposit is non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 14 days before the arrival date
NO REFUNDS FOR EARLY CHECK OUTS OR NO SHOWS (emergency situations will be reviewed with manager). Point Sebago strongly encourages you to purchase cancellation travel insurance to cover any possible losses.
Two dogs or cats are allowed on campsites located on Yellow, Green, and Blue Road as part of the Cove Communities pet policy.
We also offer 31 Cabins that are pet-friendly, #930, #931, and #932; Birch Circle (sites #201-#211); and Acorn Circle (#221-#240). All other accommodations do not allow pets.
Please know that pets are not allowed on the beach or in any of the common areas.
You may have up to 6 people registered to your site. There is an extra person fee for the 5th and 6th person and everyone must be registered at the time of check-in.
Visitors are permitted only if you do not exceed the (6) people that are registered at check-in. For example, if you registered a family of 4 upon check-in, you may have 2 visitors. If you registered 5 people at check-in you may only have 1 visitor. Please pre-register all visitors at the Front Desk.
For day visitors, the admission fee is $10 per day.
Gas grills are provided at the Island Lodge, site #190, and charcoal grills are provided at all of our Cove Cabins (The Island (#161 – #188) and on #15, #16, #741, #742, #743, & #785). All other accommodations will have a fire pit, but no grills.
Yes, all units are equipped with mugs, drinking glasses, small and large plates, bowls, pots, pans, serving spoons, knife block, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dish strainer, sponge, dishwashing liquid, paper towel, and bags for trash and recycling. *Coffee and coffee filters are available for sale in the General Store. There are additional chairs and picnic tables available upon request.
During the summer season, linens are provided in ‘Cove’ Cabins, Vacation Homes, Beach Club Cottages, and Vacation Cottages. Linens may be added to any ‘Standard’ Cabin rental for $50 per bed and will include a blanket, pillow, sheets, and towels. If you would like to add linen packages to your reservation, please notify the reservations department 2 weeks prior to your arrival in order for us to assure that we have them on hand.
All linen packages will be delivered to your site around 6 p.m. on the day that you arrive.
Whether your linens were purchased or provided by Point Sebago, they are not replaced, but we do have a laundry facility on the resort that you may utilize.
Point Sebago will make sure that your unit is cleaned upon your arrival and we will clean it after you depart, but we do not offer a daily housekeeping service.
Yes, we have laundry facilities available for guests. The cost is $2.50-$2.75 per wash depending on the machine size and $2.50 for the dryer. The machines accept both coins and cards.
Motorcycles are not permitted at Point Sebago. You may certainly bring one if you would like; however, it must be parked at the Welcome Center in the overflow parking area. There is a parking fee of $5 a night. At check-in please notify the Front Desk that you have a motorcycle.
Unfortunately, for insurance purposes, you may not bring up your own golf cart, but we do offer them for rent.
As long as you have a reservation at Point Sebago, you may reserve a golf cart. Golf carts are reserved on a first come, first serve basis and must be paid (in full) at time of booking. Please know that golf carts do sell out. The cost for a 4-passenger cart for the week is $500 or $80/night. Carts must be reserved for the full length of stay. In order to drive the golf cart, you must be 21 years of age.
